This clown costume for Halloween was designed and made by me for Elizabeth Taylor. Back then, my label was Jorjett originals.
Clown costumes from Jorjett originals, made for Elizabeth Taylor and her husband, Larry.
In 1992, when Elizabeth Taylor celebrated her 60th birthday, her good friend, Roddy McDowell, came up to take the official birthday photos. His intention was to re-create a famous photo he had taken of ET in the 1960's, with her head wrapped in a hot pink towel turban. Sydney Guilaroff, one of ET's oldest friends and one of my dearest friends, came up to help. Sydney had been Hollywood's most famous hairdresser back in the "Golden Days" and had known Elizabeth since she was a child. He did her hair for all of the M-G-M movies and many others as well. I got pulled into this fun photo and Sydney included it in his autobiography, CROWNING GLORY.

I am wearing a Joan Collins dress from DYNASTY - the dress she had on when Alexis went to jail.
I had so much fun being Nolan Miller's assistant and in-house model!
Modeling for Helen Rose. This gown was a design Helen created for Miss Piggy, based on a gown created for Lana Turner in the film, THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL (M-G-M 1952). Helen won an Oscar for this movie.
Old newspaper photo of me modeling for Helen Rose. After Helen Rose, retired from designing, she wrote several books and did a fashion show called THE GLAMOROUS WORLD OF HELEN ROSE with 30 of her most famous movie costumes. I modeled the Elizabeth Taylor and the Cyd Charisse costumes in the show.
This is fun! In 1999, Martha Stewart had a recipe contest called: "Family Heirloom Cookie Contest". My Father's parents came from Norway and there were always many kinds of delicious cookies at their house for Christmas. This recipe won First Prize. Martha made my cookies on her show (with my photo) on November 11, 1999 and the recipe was in her magazine in February 2000. It was great fun. This is the video of Martha making my cookies on TV:
